Music Club Brno
Muzikář, Vladimír ; Fišer, Jiří (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Štěpánek, Ladislav (advisor)
Based studio study AG35 is processed by the thesis that the study elaborates in grades documentation for building permits and documentation for the execution of the project. The central theme is Music Club in Brno, for which it was entered plot near the Grain Market Square slope below Špilberk. Near the plot is solved square Obilný trh, park Špilberk, Brno University Hospital and building Ombudsman. The land is sloping, which significantly influenced the design. My main idea was to create a project that would include both a monumental building that will meet and represent the function and at the same time that they are in the best compliance with the terrain of the land. Create a public space where people will resort to relax, or walk to the park we were commonplace. Roofs are walkable, offering views of the surrounding area, larger building houses a cafe and music club itself, in a small building with a test, a recording studio and a ballroom. Both buildings are connected to the underground parking. The very architecture of the buildings plays with the principles of the libre and minimalist style.
Inventure of the City Center ? Brno – Údolní - Gorkého
Jakubíková, Barbora ; Rudiš, Viktor (referee) ; Pelčák, Petr (advisor)
The designed area of residential buildings responds to the surrounding buildings, the development of existing block and defines the frontage streets of Gorkého and Údolní street. The ends of the lines extend to the building of a hospital and between them is the private garden for the residents. Recessed floor apartment buildings react to remote vista through Čápkova street to the Orthodox durch of sv. Václav from the 30s of the 20th century. The proposed passage in the extension of Čápkova street, bordered on one side with three-story apartment buildings, allowing access to Špilberk, which is an alternative to the uncomfortable route along the busy Úvoz stree. The new use of the historic building should be private fertility clinic and center for assisted reproduction, which follows the 130 years of unbroken tradition, and the object corresponds to the developing trend of contemporary luxury parenthood.
The Building on Obilní trh
Daňová, Barbora ; Štěpánek, Martin (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
The gap on the opposite side of Obilní trh has been a neglected area for a long time and it looks unaesthetic. The location of the place is ideal for the construction of a building of public interest as it is located near the city center and at the same time it is surrounded by nature especially the park around the castle Spilberk. The situation is solved in this thesis by designing a multifunctional building which houses mainly the Office of district Brno střed, Brno City Architect's Office and the Urban Center. The premises attract with their variable use and also with the mutual communication of the building with the outdoor spaces. The urbanism of the design respects and complements the surrounding public space while not disturbing the current state of public infrastructure and life in the city. On the contrary, the design supports the attractiveness of the place and the city of Brno as such.

Juračková, Lenka ; Marek, Jiří (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
Bachelor thesis expands an architectural study elaborated within the framework of the course AG33 to the stage Documentation for permission of construction and Documentation for building permission. The topic of the thesis is a Culture Center in Brno, for which was selected a lot on the street Údolní in front of square Obilný trh in a slope under the Špilberk. Close to the lot is located University hospital Brno – maternity hospital and the building of Public Guard of Rights and historical build-up area from 19. century, which strictly keeps a street line, this street line was disrupted by gap site during the 2. World War, due to the bomb fallout. New building of the cultural center is designed in this gap site between two historical houses and completes original frontageline. The main idea of design was to keep the fromtage line and at the same time interconnect by designed project an opposite square with a park and castle Špilberk. Object comprises three parts. The main object is in the shape of a letter L and its back part is partly built in the slope, in bigger wing of the building is located a foyer, a big concert hall, performers, staff and technical facilities and storage area in the first floor, small conference hall with foyer in the second floor and gallery in the third floor, in smaller wing café and gym are located. Second part includes sheltered penthouse in the shape of letter L which is designed in form of steel structure, which is adjacent to the main object and thus creates square-shaped yard. The cover at the same time creates sheltered passage from Obilný trh onwards to Špilberk. Third object is the smallest one, it has cuboid shape and it is defined as a commercial space especially for free-time activities.
Town-house
Fejko, Matyáš ; Plášil, Jiří (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
Brno-středr, the most important part of Brno in which there are many as yet unused places. One of them is a plot on Pellicova Street, which falls under the Department of Education, Sports, Culture and Youth. The proposal will deal with the modern use of this area to supplement the functions local structures of cultural-educational buildings.
Archive+
Šana, Václav ; Hora, Jan (referee) ; Kristek, Jan (advisor)
The proposal deals with the architecture archive concept on a wider social scale. The goal is to treat the information as a certain relative value, when the individual spaces are conceived with emotional surprise. There is a controlled collision between old and new approaches where attractive spaces serve purely rational mechanical systems. A person going through the archive should perceive emotional experiences and, after leaving the archive, perceive information in a more complex way.
A Small Theatre Brno
Kloz, Lukáš ; Teplý, Vladimír (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The aim of the thesis was to create the individual degrees of project documentation – documentation for building permit and building design documentation on the basis of the study, processed in the subject AG34. The subject of the bachelor’s thesis is project of new building – small theatre in Brno. The Building is situated in Brno, Brno-město, on street Údolní. The Area borders with Špilberk on south, surrounding buildings from east, comunication for pedestrians from west and street Údolní from north. Area is also conected to Obilní Trh across the street Údolní. The Site of project is unutilized in these days. It is optimal area for construction of theatre because this area is busy and there are missing cultural facilities. The New bulding is composed of two main sections. It is building of theatre and building of museum and administration. Project also deals with surroundings, important for pedestrians, supplying and preservation of vegetation. A part of project solves new access to Špilberk from the north. The object of museum and administration connects surrounding building and follows the shape. Main rooms form exibition areas. Other spaces are destined for education and administration. The object of theatre is situated separately. It is moved aside from the street line so it allows to make a spread area in front of main entrance. Main rooms form the main hall on the ground floor and the side hall on the second floor. The Entrance hall is supplemented with a dinning hall. Theatre background is composed of changing rooms for actors, storerooms and rooms of technical equipment. Both of the buildings are separated by comunication for pedestrians which connects Špilberk with street Údolní. Estate is supplemented with exterior amfitheatre which is embed in hillside and parking lot for public.
Brno, Husova and the foot of Špilberk.
Poulíčková, Radka ; Rusín, Tomáš (referee) ; Kiszka, Josef (advisor)
My bachelor thesis deals with the design of a town building. The building is located near the center of Brno on the steep foot of Park spilberk at Husova Street. There are entrances to the 10-Z bunker at the foot of the hill and a footpath leading from Spilberk Park. My intention was to design an object that would connect the center (city) and park (nature). The design is based on the appearance of a town building with a residential function and services. Part of the work is also the modification of the surrounding park areas and transport corridor.
The Building on Obilní trh
Jálová, Kateřina ; Ježková, Tereza (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
The Obilní trh is a notable public space in the image of the Brno city. Its southern part has not been completed yet, although there is plenty of potential for development of the city, or its public institutions. The form of public administration and its authorities are criticized for a long period of time. There are a minimum of examples of modern, open, flexible and even sustainable public buildings. The social discourse is calling for them louder and louder and architects must have the answer for this calling prepared.
